Pertemps Kettering are currently recruiting for a Sales Account Manager for our established East Midlands based Client. Our client are a leading bespoke manufacturing company who manage accounts for large retail clients around the world.
Duties will involve
" Building relationships with current and future clients ensuring all sales opportunities are maximised.
" Responsible for Managing and developing current clients, identifying cross-selling opportunities.
" Identify new business opportunities, and obtain all relevant details to convert into new clients.
" Work closely with other departments within the business to ensure projects are delivered within the allocated time frame, within the allocated budget and to the client expectations.
" Have an understanding of the target Market and comply a hit list.
" Ensure all clients details are inputted in the system correctly.
The ideal candidate will have the following:
" Excellent communication alongside sales and project management skills are required to carry out the role of Sales Account Manager. You will be adept in carrying out face to face communications as well as telephone, written, email, skype and any other communications medium required as appropriate.
" You will possess a natural confidence and ability to engage and work with clients and prospects at all levels within a client's / prospects business.
" An understanding of the products that are made and the different materials.
" Previous experience of the POS industry is highly desirable.
" You shall be expected to maintain a high level of industry/sector awareness by investigating/reading sector publications, social media publications, websites, attending trade shows, exhibitions and alike.
" Knowledge of retailer / brand guidelines is a key function for the role in order for you to deliver robust solutions for clients.
" Managing client expectations at all times, ensuring that all projects remain on track, on time, with realistic and successful outcomes being achieved at all times.
" It is vital for you to manage your own time, be punctual, have an eye for detail, to be thorough and diligent at all times.
" You will be a great team player and support the business to strive towards greater success and efficiencies in the future.
" Problem solving, being flexible, being able to work under pressure towards delivery deadlines are all key to success within the role.
The company offer ongoing training with opportunities to gain accredited qualifications within specific fields. They also hold yearly reviews for pay structures to ensure they are in line with the current market. After two years of service an additional days holiday will be added for each full year completed.
The working hours will be 8.30 - 17:30 Monday to Friday with 1 hour for lunch.
